This will be a separate ADGA-sanctioned senior and junior doe show open to all 4-H, FFA, and ADGA youth. ADGA rules shall govern. Please also see the accompanying Utah Junior Livestock Rules.

Entry Fees:

Entries postmarked by May 23rd, 2025 will be $6.00 per head per ring.

Entries postmarked after May 23rd, 2025, to show date will be charged a $25 late fee.

Entry fees must accompany your entry, or you will incur the $25 late fee

Any questions or disputes will be addressed to the show chairperson or Secretary with the Chairperson making the final decision. All fees must accompany the entry form. Please call with questions.

No Free Sanctioned animals. If you are asked by the show committee to bring a goat for sanctioning purposes, you will get the original discount fee.

Pen Fees: Pen fees will be $6 per pen per weekend. Please only pay for pens with the open show entry form unless you will not be attending the open show.

Check-in: 7:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. June 6th, 2025
Early Check-in: 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. June 5th, 2025

Showmanship: Showmanship will start promptly at 9:30 a.m.. Please see the rules for the dress code. Senior doe show to start immediately following but not before 10 am.

Showmanship Order:
Senior 2 – over 18 under 21
Senior 1 – 9th-12th grade
Intermediate – 5th-8th grade
Junior – 3rd-4th grade

All youth must be entered into a showmanship class. They can use any goat of their choosing, even wethers. There will also be a peewee class added for those siblings who aren’t old enough to participate in the youth show. This class will be for children under the age of 8 as of September 1st, 2021. If you have a peewee showman, please list their names in the box provided on the entry form.

Clipping: All animals are not required to be clipped, but it is recommended that they are.

Milk Out: There is not a mandatory milk out, but over uddering of your does will be discriminated against.

Base date: June 6, 2025

Arrival Times: For those of you traveling a distance and staying the evening before the show, pens will be available the afternoon of the June 5 at 3:00 p.m.

Bedding: Shavings will be available for purchase with your entry at $9.00 a bag. You are also welcome to bring your own. The fairgrounds don’t allow straw, so all bedding must be shavings.

Several hotels and air BNBs in the area will be available.

Junior and Senior does will be separately sanctioned

Alpine, LaManchas, Nubians, Nigerians, Oberhasli, AOP, Recorded Grade

Junior Does will be sanctioned in:
Alpine, LaManchas, Nubians, Nigerians, Oberhasli, AOP, Recorded Grade

Show Order:

Alpine, AOP, LaMancha, Nubian, Nigerians, Oberhasli, Recorded Grade

Show Order is subject to be changed at the discretion of the show committee. All efforts to prevent over or under uddering will be considered if the show order is changed.

Breeds Codes: A- Alpine, L – LaMancha, ND – Nigerian Dwarf, N- Nubian, O – Oberhasli, R -Recorded Grade, & AOP – All Other Purebreds. Please indicate class number and breed codes on entries.

Senior Doe Show:
(Any doe that has freshened or is currently in milk.)

Class 1 — Senior does under 2 years old in milk
Class 2 — Senior does 2 years and under 3 years old
Class 3 — Senior does 3 years and under 4 years old
Class 4 — Senior does 4 years and under 5 years old
Class 5 — Senior does 5 years and under 6 years old
Class 6 — Senior does 6 years & over

Class 12 — Champion Challenge

Class 10 – Jr Dry Yearlings under one year born before January 2025
Class 11 – Sr Dry Yearlings older than one year and under two never freshened
